2.5. Ehkä parasta mitä tästäkin voi sanoa, että värikäs animaatio ja maailmanrakentelu on ihan näpsäkkää tekoa, mutta kaikki muu lagaa ja pahasti. 90% koko leffasta on lähinnä valmiiden kasarihittien pyörittelyä ja loppu epämääräistä säntäilyä paikasta toiseen. Olen jo tarpeeksi varmaan räyhännyt, miten ärsyttävää tällainen luova laiskuus oikeasti on.

Huh? So that was it? I was expecting some sort of übercreative mind-melting avant garde never made before, but all I got was just a symphonic metal(ish) album with some Middle Eastern influences, techno beats, polka, basic death metal guitars and random screaming. Very disappointing.

26.4. Kutsuvat tätä yhdeksi paskimmista animaatioista koskaan, mutta oikeasti tässä on ihan hyvät taustat, musiikit ja ääninäyttelijät. Tämä on toistaiseksi Sean Conneryn viimeinen leffa, ja mies on tässä jo selvästi sen verran heikossa hapessa, että jatkoa lienee enää turha edes odottaa.

Maybe little too polished compared to their previous albums, but I still love it. Omens is definitely one of those kinds of records you're supposed to listen through at least dozen times until you really get into it, and even then you'll surely always find something new and interesting. For me, this is a strong contender for AOTY.

22.4. Tiettyä klassikkostatusta tällä lyhärillä tunnetusti on, vaikka paljon parempaakin on vuosien varrella menty tekemään. Menin ja katsoin tästä alkuperäisen harvinaisen leikkaamattoman version, jossa iso paha susi naamioituu stereotyyppiseksi kierteleväksi juutalaiseksi, joka yrittää päästä sikojen taloon sisään jakamalla ilmaisia näytteitä. Vitsi on siis siinä, että 1. stereotyyppinen juutalainen ei koskaan anna mitään ilmaiseksi 2. juutalaiset eivät syö porsasta. Hämmentävää nähdä näin vanhassa lapsille suunnatussa Disney-lyhärissä South Park -henkistä juutalaisläppää, mutta tuo on oikeasti jopa tosi nokkelaa virnuilua. Natsi-Saksan ja holokaustin vuoksi aiheesta tuli sittemmin tabu ja se on menty siksi sotavuosien jälkeen ilmestyneistä uudemmista julkaisuista sensuroimaan. Joitain kopioita jäi kuitenkin maailmalle pyörimään, mistä syystä tämä on mahdollista tarkastaa alkuperäisessä muodossaan yhä edelleen.
