This was great until the very end, which left me kinda cold. You'd think a story this hyped and epic would end with just as epic final fight, right? With drama and excitement where even the good guys die like flies? Well, no. Maybe Takahashi got so much negative reception from the last series that he cut the drama short. That's bullshit, if you ask me.
I wish they'd also release Yamato manga in Finland. They have pretty much released everything else from Takahashi, even the more obscure side stories.

This film super underrated, I would even say cursed. The idea of making a sequel to a film few have seen and even fewer enjoy was a terrible idea. Botching the marketing didn't help at all, and the fact that Home Alone stole the audience didn't help either: this shit bombed hard. Then they started releasing all the shitty sequels on VHS, and people still think this is one of them, when it's actually a legit Disney spectacle from their peak days.
I just love how this basically lacks all the common Disney cliches and feels so fresh. The animation is some of the best, and so is the original voice acting. Eva Gabor had amazingly beautiful voice, but never anything smart to say.

You can't tell me I didn't give a fair try or get outside my comfort zone. This is great on paper, since there's a lot of influences and different genres creatively mixed here. But then again, I would much rather have something I can just pick up and enjoy instead of needing to read some special description or philosophy to find any enjoyment out of music. Like maybe you just like something and then find out later it's somehow special or smart.
In many ways this album has a lot of things I really hate in modern music, like the overuse of autotune, too much reliance on boom bass, lyrics you can't understand and shit. I know many people can't enjoy grindcore or other extreme metal genres, so I guess this is the same for me. This sounds too lifeless and plastic for my ears, I need more organic human elements.

It seems I mixed these two books, but who cares, since now I've done them both. I think I could read all of them in just few days because they're so good.

I remember trying to read this novel as a teenager and found it borderline unreadable. Now that I have a long history with both reading and writing all kinds of texts I found this effortless and almost read it in one sitting. With Proust you must remember that he allegedly wrote exactly the same way he spoke, that is extremely long and complicated sentences with huge speed, so you're also supposed to read this really fast to get the real pleasure out of it. Don't try doing "word by word" slow reading like we Finns tend to do.

I just had to watch this again so I could find the cameo appearance of Rafael Trujillo. I think I found it, he's the man who starts the plane engine, shuts the door and walks away. I'm pretty sure that's him.

Oh boy, after I'm done with these I'm going to have to grab a good cold beer. It's going to take some time until I'm there.

This is a very cool collection of live recordings. And by that I mean that it's not necessarily one song per track, but whole concerts, and the duration of this beast is roughly 4 hours. And there will be more collections like this in the listening for the next few days. This is Sparta!
