10.7. The biggest flaw of this film is that it's so influential, everything it does or says has become a massive cliche in the 2000's, so Shrek itself feels very outdated.

Matteo is still very young and developing even further, so it's going to be highly interesting to see what direction he will choose to go with his special talent.

18.6. One of the weakest Pixar films I have seen in years. This is more like an aimless summer film where stuff just happens without a coherent plot. But here's the thing: Luca feels like a very rushed film where the creators forgot to add some vital details, like who are these sea men, what do they actually do, why do they turn to human and why any of this stuff happens, you know, to really flesh out the characters. At times the story feels very absurd because of these strange plot holes, like the sea people parents go around splashing people in public to find their kids while knowing that the people around them are afraid and want to kill them all if they happen to see them. It makes no sense at all. Then there's the villain. I mean if your story is supposed to be like Totoro where the aimless childhood summer is the whole point, then why have a villain at all, makes little sense to me. Not just that, but the villain is cheesy as hell, one of the weakest I have seen since at least Frozen. I'm probably starting to repeat myself already, but I don't like the art style. I've read that they tried to imitate Hayao Miyazaki and Ghibli, but it all looks like that crappy "CalArts" style that's everywhere nowadays. Sure, it looks childish and works fine in this context, but I still don't like it. They don't really do anything too non-realistic to justify making this a super expensive animated feature instead of fancy live action, so I think the whole thing is kinda pointless.

16.6 This has to be the worst book I've read in ages. It's supposed to be about former Finnish president and her policies, but within the first 200 or so pages she is only mentioned maybe once or twice. The rest is just endless jargon of names, numbers, questionable and sensational claims, anything that would make a good headline to sell this garbage. About Tarja herself there isn't anything new, she was very controversial figure even back in the day and everything was public even when she was in power, so that's about it.
