Raya and the Last Dragon
11.3. Don't worry, I didn't actually pay to see this underwhelming film, and neither should you. The overall style and designs are just your typical tried and tested Disney, the story recycles lots of their already boring tropes and... the story just doesn't flow naturally, there's way too much going on for one film. Raya the Last Airbender looks and sounds very good, but then again it's a film worth hundreds of millions of dollars, so what did you expect? I mean, what a waste of time and money to make a film about some exotic culture without utilizing visually any of the existing art and culture of the region on more fundamental design level like they used to do back in the 90's, similar fashion to what Cartoon Saloon did with Wolfwalkers. That's just stupid and lazy, and honestly very boring. But hey, this is Disney we're talking about so all the mainstream media and pinhead fanboys will be pissing gold all over this corporate mediocrity like it's the next Sistine Chapel or Citizen Kane of animation.

Swat Kats: The Radical Squadron
8.3. Man, I wish I had seen this as a kid. Swat Kats is still awesome comic book style action cartoon with all the good stuff, like furries, mad doctors, robots, giant monsters, aliens and other cliches. The animation is actually really damn well made, especially on season 2 where they outsourced the production solely to Japan and got in some obvious anime influences as well, even the writing went more mature and better. Swat Kats was originally cancelled while few episodes were still under production because of some moral panic of early 90's. The big boss didn't want kids killing each other, so they killed this massively popular show instead. The huge fanbase is still out there desperately wanting more, and for a reason I would say.

Earthworm Jim
3.3. Damn, this series was so good. Back in the days they used to make crazy stuff, and Jim is one of the craziest animated characters ever, but I don't think they quite matched the absurd genius of the original games, like it's not raining grandma's or anything. The voice cast of this show is amazing.

Redo of Healer
2.3. They told me never to watch this thing because it's so intense and hardcore, so naturally I did watch an uncut edition the very same day because I'm a sick bastard, and they were right: this thing is insane and I love it. Too bad people these days are just a bunch of whiny pussies who can't stand anything spicier than boring kids' stuff. It's a fantasy anime with a revenge plot as twisted and evil as it gets, including violent sex scenes, torture and psychological abuse and stuff. Feeble minds will be corrupted by the filth of this thing, so kids and soyboys beware, you have been warned, your penis might get little confused with this one, and so will you, because this show is very dumb and over the top in very amusing ways. Other than that, I don't think it's any bad per ce. It's provocative and extremely cruel story. I kinda dig the idea of this show honestly, since it's not just porn and violence all the time and there's actually dialogue, drama and characters. If anything, this reminds me of the funniest larping sessions of my life, including a character called "Kamala Mies", a personification of absolute moral decadence beyond human comprehension which takes the whole evilness to a comedic extreme. I can honestly see why many people are upset about this thing, for average viewers this level of torture and abuse is just way too much. If you're like me and you've seen all kinds of real life shit, then you'll most likely be ok. I have seen worse than this. Want to see some sick real life crap? Watch some crime scene photos or read some witness testimonies, those are absolutely horrifying stuff at worst. Real life is always way more sickening and gruesome than any fantasy stories ever, even Japanese ones. The series is still ongoing, so there will be a lot more of this, but so far it's been one hell of a ride. It's funny how people rage and whine like Redo's the worst thing in the world when it's actually not even close. I've read the manga, so I can tell you guys there's more of that good old in-out-in-out incoming, so have fun. Edit. Now that the season 1 has ended, I can honestly say, that the comic is way better. The anime started great but started losing steam fast.
