Took me ages to beat this bad boy, but here it finally is. This one's basically a remake of one the best JRPG's ever, and for the most part the title "complete" is well deserved, since they added so much depth and detail to the overall game. The story and the characters are much more fleshed out here, the villains plot makes helluva lot more sense, the battle requires more strategic thought, etc.
My only minor complaints here are some of the parts where you're basically trapped between insanely difficult bosses and you can't go back to get items you need. Since you can still save wherever you want and have no clue what's coming, there should have been some alternate ways to go back or buy stuff like they had in Eternal Blue. These parts are just unfair.
Other than that, I love this thing. It's very satisfying feeling making it to the end. While they did tone down the violence, they also made the villain way more evil and dark than the original, like rather than just kill the dragons, why not enslave and mutilate them instead? That's just nasty.
Kei Shigema once claimed this was his favourite version of the story, and I agree. The ending is just beautiful, nearly on par with Eternal Blue.

I used to hate this game until recently. I hated some of the changes they made here, like most of the new music, stupid one-liners and the difficulty, which is insane compared to the original. The first boss is legendary in its brutality, it originally killed my interest immediately.
Now that I've had more time to swallow, I like it even more than the original, they changed everything mostly for the better. At best this is even better and smarter than any of the Final Fantasy games. They added so much to the concept it really does feel more complete and fits in perfectly with the sequel.
One can tell they knew exactly how good Eternal Blue was on Sega CD, because they clearly took a lot of fundamental ideas from that masterpiece. I'd say this game and Sega CD's Eternal Blue form a perfect pair, even better than the original.

A quasi-philosophical novel for people who don't care about deep thinking. I found it very superficial and pretentious.

Another great book, this time about the history of russophobia aka Western paranoia, hatred and fear of Russia and Russian people. The text is actually much more neutral than what it might seem from the subject matter alone.

A classic book about the infamous Finnish-Russia-relationship of the Cold War era. The lengths people went just to please the communist regime are hilariously insane by our standards, like sending the soviet leaders a pile of "high quality dirt" as a symbol of friendship and taking their sarcastic answers as a compliment.
