25.1. This book makes little to no sense, but it is so utterly fascinating in its madness I love it. It's all about psychedelic drugs, alternate realities and whatever quasi-religious stuff Dick happened to have in mind. God bless that man's weird imagination.

24.1. I had completely missed the third season, so naturally had to watch it all at once. This season is surprisingly dark. Not to say that there isn't any lighter moments, but from the beginning it's just something completely different, at the end there's even violence and blood. I won't spoil anything, but I just have say that every teenager who keeps bashing Retsuko can suck the big one for all I care. This show is designed for the adult audience so it's no wonder why kids don't connect with it or understand its humor. Season 3 gets 4/5 from me, but the overall series is still my thing. I wish the next one gets back to the business.

24.1. Phew, that was really something, 112 episodes and all. Yu Yu Hakusho is your typical fantasy fighting anime from the 90's, but this time with some horror elements. From what I've understood, this one's not as popular as some of the other similar titles, which isn't that surprising since there's so many of them. My only complaint here is that nearly one third of the whole series is just one big tournament arc and I REALLY HATE them. Other than that there's nothing really bad here: the characters are memorable, the storytelling is subtle enough and the animation and the voice actors (especially Shigeru Chiba) just nail it. All in all, I'm happy I finally managed to get some lazy time to watch this thing.
