THE definite proof that God does exist!

“I know it's for kids, but good lord is it so much fun! Like, imagine the dumbest films Steven Seagal has ever made and put in John Rambo to do his usual stuff. Because it's for kids there's shitton of stupid humor and moral lessons and some of the most awful one-liners I have ever heard in my life. ” read more

The Handmaid
12.1. Some people will hate me for this, but I didn't really enjoy this novel, I don't think it's nearly as good as some folk make it out to be. I think Margaret Atwood is a great writer, but the content is very flat and empty. You know the thrill: some fundamental christian cult has taken over America and all fertile women are being persecuted, they're kept as slaves and regularly raped and stuff. My first issue is that the thing is so extreme it doesn't really represent even the smallest of minorities within the religion. Not even people in the middle ages were that extreme. It doesn't seem like Atwood understood the logic behind extremely conservative people at all. My second issue is that it's so damn vague. Let's presume that this radical movement exists and could "somehow" take over America. Of course, I would gladly want to know what this "somehow" actually is, since it would be pretty much impossible in real life. The story is told in first person by a woman who doesn't know anything so at the end the reader is left completely empty-handed. It drove me nuts. My third issue is that if only handful of women were fertile, they would most likely be treated like queens or goddesses, not slaves. The real life already has e-girls and other similar examples where thousands or millions of young men compete about the attention of a single woman and the succubus herself just runs away with their money. There's smaller "queen bee" cases outside social media, but my point is very clear. Many people find fertility hot and sexy, that's why men usually don't date women older than themselves.

Rambo: The Force of Freedom
11.1. Terrorists have kidnapped the Santa Claus! Rambo: The Force of Freedom is one of the most over the top and insane cartoons ever made. The people who made this thing understood the fine line between action and just violence, and using that idea they managed to create something truly intense and crazy without actually breaking any rules of television entertainment. You guys don't have a faintest idea how entertaining and balls out insane this cartoon is. There's so much testosterone and adrenaline weaker men will die of overdose while watching. Others will die laughing the insanity that is the cartoon show about the god of war himself. The awful one-liners, forced moral lessons and terrible humor just make this better. Kissyfur
9.1. Kissyfur, what a name. It's a story about a circus bear and his son who end up living in a swamp after a fatal crash that let them escape. Sadly, though, the mama bear is dead. This show had so much potential, but they either missed the mark or completely scrapped the plans after the first few episodes. This could've been a little more mature show about themes like a bond between father and son, family breaking up and stuff, but they instead went the easy road and made it a very typical kids' show with adventure and slapstick comedy. This could've been so good, there was even an amazing set of screenwriters, like people from The Real Ghostbusters, that 90's Spider-Man and even future Disney names, but somebody somewhere missed the point badly. For 1985 the animation is really, really good, and you got to love the disco title theme. I need more DIC in my life. [youtube id=GyOzAot0zZM]

Chuck Norris: Karate Kommandos
7.1. If all the best and the worst bits of the 80's took a dump together, what you'd get is this: a cartoon about the life of Chuck Norris. Of course it's all written by Chuck himself, so you know it's full of his massive ego. But goddamn is it funny as hell. One minute steroid-filled musclebound superman Chuck is doing something casual when suddenly ninjas attack him. Then it's full action after that, all the while it's trying to be kid friendly Hanna-Barbera crap. Ninjas trying to steal a space shuttle? Why not, it's Chuck Norris! I just can't get enough of this thing. Chuck even takes hostages and uses human shields and the villain's killer snake as a living rope.

One of the best black metal albums ever.

“I can't believe how back in the day when people told me to get this thing I just thought it would by another cookie cutter Norwegian style black metal album with lo-fi production and lots of blastbeats. It wasn't until recently that I got really curious since its popularity and acclaim have only got” read more

Flow, My Tears, the Policeman Said
5.1. One of the less surreal and bonkers stories of Dick's. Maybe that's also why it's one of the better ones, doesn't blow up completely into chaos.

Darkstalkers
5.1. This show is surreal kind of bad. Like so horrible in so many crazy ways watching it will make you happy because you know your life will only get better after it's over. Nothing makes any sense and the animation quality is worse than that 90's My Little Pony these guys made. My god, this is almost very funny.
