13.12. This show is so damn good. It's like they took the original concept and explored the hell out of it while still staying true to the naive adventurous tone of the book. This reminds me of Lunar games which captured the same essence, possibly influenced by either this or the original source. Too bad Peter Pan was so much ahead of its time and the cartoon craze of the 90's hadn't really caught on when this was new. As far as I know the only ways to watch this thing these days are some crappy bootlegs and single episodes released on DVD. Oh, and this was animated by multiple studios, so the quality between individual episodes can differ from awesome to terrible. I'd much rather watch sincere, funny and high quality stuff like this than most new films these days.

11.12. It's really not that hard to see why this short became such a beloved classic. The humor is extremely dark, but at the same time these guys really seem to get the style of the genre exactly right and it's just constant laughter.

11.12. Can't say I enjoyed it. Might be the faulty translation, but I found this novel very confusing and difficult to read.

Mythical & Magical is something of a mix of folk rock and classical metal, the songwriting is nothing short of brilliant. Every time you think it's about to get boring some sweet melodic solo starts or it turns out otherwise nothing you'd expect. Not even cheap production quality and weird vocals can make this less than five star album.

9.12. A very philosophical and symbolic novel, it might be easier to digest if you happen to know a thing or two about the politics and culture of the 19th century Europe.

The story of modern Latin America compiled into one single village and family. The tempo of the story is crazy and information gets shot at you machine gun -style, but the reading feels so satisfying you won't even care. It's just so good.
