A very good, but sadly flawed space anime from some of my favourite creative minds of the genre.
The point of this show was to capture the essence of old-school pulp adventures like Cobra and Cowboy Bebop and make something new out of it. While partly nailing it, the longer the series goes, the more it loses steam. For example, they clearly couldn't just decide whether they wanted epic space opera or more simplistic adventure so they threw in both and the end result never really goes anywhere.

“The Prince Of Egypt was released during the time where DreamWorks Animation were slowly up and running, and even though that this is one of their firs”

These films were always bad, but this is just insulting. Home Alone was a dead franchise for a reason: the first film was already a one trick pony with nowhere to go but oblivion and they still decided to keep it going as long as they got anything out of it. The sixth installment feels like the sixth circle of hell from Dante's Inferno, and I think there's still room for something even worse.

A very obscure little show with lots of potential. It's actually based on an Argentinian comic book about a Batman-like female mercenary who hunts Nazi war criminals and scientists who continue their superhuman experiments in hiding. It isn't all action, but there's also hints of telenovela and stuff. The concept is great, even James Cameron supposedly plagiarized it in Dark Angel.
This show suffers from multiple severe flaws, mainly that it's aimed for little kids so they had to cut the juicier stuff and forget the backstory entirely, which in turn makes the thing feel very confusing and flat unless you know the comic. The writing is also very wonky, dialogue weak and sound effects cheap and overused.
On the other hand the animation is top notch television quality and visually the show has way more personality than most similar cartoons of the day. I just wish this show was more adult-oriented so they could've had utilized the source material properly.

Darth Brutus added 1 item to Games I've never managed to beat (so far) list
Some years ago I decided to play the first three Mega Man games, but at the end I never beat the first one. If I remember correctly there was a part where's this one secret item you're supposed to get or else you can't get to the end. Naturally you couldn't know about this thing unless you had already screwed up, cheated or had help from someone beforehand. That's bullshit.

Even though I LOVE the original, I've never bothered to complete this one. The Sega-CD version is just perfect as it is, but I found the remake mostly boring and slow even if it's nowhere near as filled with new content as Silver Star. I know the original doesn't start really kicking until few hours in, but this is like 10+ hours or so and that's way too much.

I used to play this thing on an emulator and still never made it to the end. SMB2 was supposed to be more advanced and difficult version of the first one, but somewhere along the way they got really carried away with the idea. It mostly works just like the original, but now there are all new hazards that can kill you instantly plus all the infamous jumps that require one nano-pixel accuracy.
The big boss of Nintendo America tried this game out and was so frustrated with it that he instead told Nintendo to give Western players something else.

I can't remember the last time I played this gem, but I remember feeling very frustrated since the difficulty isn't easy. Maybe someday I'll have to try it out again.
Demon's Crest reminds me of this PC hysteria we have these days. Back in the day conservative parents lost their shit when they saw this game, since it has so many references to gothic horror and all kinds of evil forces, so that's why it's so rare these days. The game itself is brilliant.
