The legends are true. This show is indeed terrible.
I think they meant this for adults but it's more childish than most legit kids' stuff, for example they swear like teenagers who just found about the internet and that's the main joke of the whole thing. They really don't do anything interesting with the animation itself, it's not like South Park where everything's so absurd and there's so much gore and plot twists it's actually the funniest thing ever.
Santa Inc. is completely lifeless.

This was my third or fourth time reading this thing and it's still one of the best graphic novels ever.

Second time watching this film, and if I thought I got a bang out of this film the first time, it completely blew me even more now.
The villain of the film is something of a caricature of a dictator mixed with charasteristics of Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini, etc, but he also rules like a Roman emperor and even has his own praetorian guard and knights of the round table and he rules his kingdom like Satan himself.
His character closely resembles that of a classical tyrant defined by Aristotle in a sense that his main driving force is envy towards anyone and anything he feels is more talented or better than him. Thus he only breeds incompetence and causes anything of value turn to garbage.
At the end his body may be dead, but the spirit still lives on. His grand vision was to create a new man, but as with anything else he only managed to corrupt human spirit and produce garbage into this world.

By this point I have already read so much of this stuff that most of this book is just repeating the same old plus it's once again a political commentary to then recent state of Russian working class, so nothing that interesting here.
Another bunch of theoretic papers was about dialectic materialism and the theory behind it. Most of it was very outdated to say the least, but the core and history of the thought were very intriguing.

They told me never to read this evil book, since it's like literally new Mein Kampf, so of course I did, because fuck them.
The story begins when millions of Third World migrants begin their journey towards the promised land in the West. Every poor country understands the consequences if they let them in, but the modern Western countries end up facing a serious moral dilemma by either having to leave them to suffer and pretty much destroy them or letting them come in and risk destroying themselves. Of course all sorts communist and anarchist factions use the situation to their advantage to destroy the capitalist Western societies.
I know, right. This book was written back in the early 70's when the great migrant crisis of 2010's was just a fantasy, as was this story. I don't think it really is racist, since the point is once again to criticize modern politics and naive rich Westerners who have been completely alienated from the real world. Morally good intentions don't always mean morally good results, and I think that's the main point of this novel.

A moral study of classical Roman and Greece history and culture. This is one of the most influential christian books ever written, and surprisingly easy to read if you know your history inside and out.

Another very laconic Houellebecq. This time an Islamic Party takes over France and something weird happens. Some people say this is racist, but I think he laughs at chaotic modern French politics where any crazy thing can actually happen any time.

This album brings me back to my teenage years when I worked as a gardener during my summer vacations. This was always my album of choice for working music, the overwhelming intensity alone makes your body work like it should, plus it's awesome from start to finish and there are some amusingly evil lyrics here and there. The people around me must have hated this stuff, which makes it even more fun to listen to. Screw them, I guess.

Few days in a life of a worthless man living in a worthless world. It's a nice and easy read with very laconic tone.
I kinda like it.

Another vandalized cartoon from the great minds of Netflix, the meme of our time.
Here's the deal: the show was marketed as a more adult continuation to the earlier series and every ad showed He-man fighting Skeletor, they used the hype to sell crazy amounts toys. Then someone leaked the plot and it was found out that He-man dies in the very first episode and the hype is a lie, so Kevin Smith started running his mouth and bashing the fans.
Then the series came out and it was all true. The animation and voice acting are fantastic, but the bad writing kills the show. It's once again a humorless and cynical version of an old IP where the heroes are miserable and killed off early to make room for a selfish and annoying strong female lead that actually was a strong female character to begin with, but actually likable. Even when Skeletor actually gets the power and becomes god he loses it immediately to another powerful female character because modern politics cancer.
It's garbage. The fact that they had all the money and talent in the world to make it the greatest thing ever just highlights the badness.

I hated it. I really, really hated it.
I thought South Park couldn't get any more boring after the latest seasons, but this was the worst. There's absolutely nothing here, it's completely soulless and devoid of anything even remotely interesting satire going on. I guess they just sold out and ran off with the money and that's about it. I encourage people to watch this just so you could see how lame this thing is.

Nightmare Before Christmas meets Tales from the Crypt but made in Mexico. I couldn't get enough of it, too bad it's so damn short and there may not be another season incoming.
