20.7. Quiet holiday season spent working. When waiting for something to happen I just keep watching this stuff and be surprised and amused over and over again. The Head is one of those weird MTV cartoons that look and sound crap and are just as insane on purpose. This time an alien moves inside a dude's head and together they start figting evil aliens that are trying to conquer Earth and eat people's cereblar cortexes. This shit is something else, haha.

18.7. A tale of an outlaw and a princess. One day a poor man finds a beautiful white horse from his property. He tries to make the horse go away, but it always comes back to him. According to a local belief the God himself has lead the horse to him, so by the traditions it now belongs to the poor man. After a rich prince comes to claim back what once was his, the poor man becomes an outlaw of the mountains.

16.7 Downtown was amazing show. From the beginning it was designed as a semi-documentary of the urban youth culture of 90's New York, they based the series on a huge bunch of interviews they did with common people and even paid amateur actors to do the voices. The ambience and the grounded style are amazing and sucked my in right from the start. But it's not just overtly naturalistic, but they were smart enough to add in a lots of more stylistic scenes like the trippy stuff seen in the last episode.

A Japanese album with a dog on the cover. I wonder what kind of music it's supposed to be? SPOILER ALERT! It's funky fusion jazz with a nice touch of 80's synthpop. How cool is that?
