25.5. Vol.1-10 This series is all about being cool and very little about an actual interesting story. Style over substance. Still, I liked it. Not the best comic book around, but it's serviceable. Back in the early 2000's Hellsing was the shit, and I couldn't even dream of ever loaning this from my local library, let alone translated. But here we are.

25.5. I'm very conflicted here. There are moments of goodness here, but then there's all the filler and mediocre songs, and I'm not that sure about the Latino influences here that could've been utilized better in my opinion. At least they kept some fo the experimentation from the last album.

25.5. Now here's an interesting twist: take a jazz band such as Rippingtons and add in some dance music influences. What you get is nu jazz. I did not expect they would do anything like that.

24.5. Another great album, maybe even slightly better than the debut. More varied sound. But the production should do more tricks than just the usual 80's plastic.

24.5. Oh yes, next I'll be exploring the funny world of pop jazz, that one brand of music every little elitist fuck absolutely hates and avoids. I think Rippingtons is a great band, and this is a great debut. More simple and fun music can also be creative and stand out. This is something hipsters just don't understand.

22.5. I know, I know. It's a postmodern novel with all kinds of grand themes of family values, consumerism, capital and identity, and the relations between the mentioned. It's also a story of a family and their last Christmas together. I know. I just found this novel incredibly boring. Nothing interesting happened for the most part. It's just full of these details and themes and then things happen somewhere in-between.
