I have always found the art of Jackson Pollock utterly fascinating. Little did I know that the philosophy of the creator was just as genius as the art itself. Jackson Pollock inspired me to utilize my intuition and gut instinct on creative work such as writing and problem solving. He's not the only one who taught about this stuff, but he's the catalyst that got the ball rolling.

11.2.
I miss the time when films could still be simple and smart. The Fly was so revered, even I knew it before I could read, and I didn't watch the film until I was 18.

Kaz is the man. One of the greatest strength athletes ever. Kaz was so good in fact they had to cheat to prevent him from dominating the game for years. What Kaz did, he went to other sports and pretty much won everything there is for a man with his talent and physique to win. Kaz is the Paavo Nurmi of strongmen.

Bjorn Lomborg is a man of many incorrect thoughts about social and environmental issues. He is a very smart and down to earth guy, and as far as I've read and heard, I can agree with many of his opinions. For example, the reason we are talking about certain things doesn't mean they actually mean or solve anything, but because they are easier to sell to people than the actual known and working solutions. I think this is a hugely important point to understand about politics, media and masses of people in general. This is why politicians, activists and media are fearmongering all the time and trying to push the craziest of ideas that don't have any possibility of ever becoming reality, like kicking the global warming by eating bugs and salad only. Not going to ever happen.

One of the greatest Canterbury scene bands ever peaked here. Young Allan Holdsworth shreds like god here. For anyone else this would be the magnum opus, but for Allan it was just another album before he started getting really good at his craft.
